Set Printing Preferences
Certain printers require specific settings to print correctly. On your workstation, configure the printing preferences for your printer. To configure your printer preferences in eReceipts, refer to Settings for details. Refer to the following applicable procedure to confirm that your printer is set up correctly prior to printing receipts. For the latest list of supported printers, refer to the eReceipts System Requirements.

From the workstation, configure printer settings for wide-feed receipts. The procedure may vary depending on your printer and your operating system. The examples shown are for TSP800 printers.

From the Windows start menu, click Printers and Devices.

Find the desired printer and right click it.

From the dropdown menu, click Printing Preferences. The Printing Preferences window is displayed.

Click Advanced. The Advanced Options window is displayed.

Click the arrow next to Paper Size. Select 104mm x Receipt (or similar, such as a user-defined amount of 104 x 9999 mm) from the dropdown menu.

Click OK. You return to the Printing Preferences window.

Click the Paper/Quality tab, click the Media field, and select high image stability paper.

Click OK again.

From your workstation, confirm narrow-feed printer settings for TSP100. The procedure may vary depending on your printer and your operating system.

Open Printing Preferences for the desired printer.

Click Advanced. The Advanced Options window is displayed.

In the Paper Size field, select 72mm x Receipt.

Click OK.

Apply the changes (if applicable) and exit the printing preferences window.

From your workstation, confirm narrow-feed printer settings for Epson printers. The procedure may vary depending on your printer and your operating system.

Open Printing Preferences for the desired printer.

Click the Layout tab.

In the Paper Size field, select User Defined.

Name the user-defined paper size, enter the appropriate width and the maximum allowed length (e.g., 72 x 9999 mm), and save it.

Click OK.

Select the user-defined size in the Paper Size field.

Apply the changes (if applicable) and exit the printing preferences window.
